Cultural Bridges

Cultural Bridges is a small company working to improve cross-cultural relationships, especially between Australia and Japan. In a variety of disciplines it tries to instil a greater appreciation of Japanese culture in Australia and vice versa.

For more than a decade it has undertaken architectural and landscape projects that blend Japanese attributes with Australian conditions and requirements. It has also provided educational and translation services.

Through its principal, John Lamb, it has over recent years extended into the area of historical research relating to early Japanese settlement in Australia.
